Dont know what to do

a close friend of mine, has had some issues with his family for some time, but his family pushed him too far lately and he got mad and broke the tv. NOW THEY ARE KICKING HIM OUT! who does this to their kid! he's barely 18, you would think they care more about their kid than a stupid f'kin tv! 'an now I don't know what to do.
