Spike the fallen line work

With that said onto the story...

Spike sits on his throne staring down at a crying Twilight, and a fearful Rarity pleading for her old spikey wikey to return to her. The old spike was gone, what sat before them was only a larva of what spike was truly meant to become. His eyes emitted a dark glow as he watched and listen to the two mares, but their cries and pleads ultimately fell on deaf ears. They were his now, he had already taken them physically, and now he will break them mentally until only thing their minds could comprehend is "Spike."

with just those two, spike was satisfied, with just those two spikes decent into darkness was being slowed. But, those two alone will not be able to contain the monster within him for long and soon the rest well fall to their fate. Rarity and twilight was only the beginning, chosen first by the darkness because they were the closet to him. The only ones that could have saved him from becoming one of the fallen. Instead when he needed them, they had forsaken him for their own friends, goals, and ambitions. Now its too late, Rarity's voice can no longer reach her baby dragon, and twilights tears only arouses him again.

"I do believe that I shall enjoy the days to come, son even the Sun and the Moon will be mine." Spike said softly, but still loud enough for the two mares to hear and stare a him with a mix of shock and fear looks on their faces.
