Warhammer Equis: A Fantasy Conversion of the FIM Universe Idea for Bronies to try

Has anyone here played tabletop games? Admittingly my only exposure to this was that I used to buy Lord of the Rings minatures from Games Workshop, to those who don't know one of the most sucessful companies centered around tabletop gaming, and painted them. Unfortuneatly I never found anyone nearby who I could learn how to play the game from so they just became toys I would mess around with by

    The Dark Crystal

Does anyone remember the Jim Henson Fantasy 'The Dark Crystal'? Merry Christmas Everyone!

The Dark Crystal · 7:06pm Jul 7th, 2015

Does anyone remember the Jim Henson Fantasy 'The Dark Crystal'? I watched it online a few years ago, a dark but charming film were all the characters were exteremly detailed puppets, featuring many unique and creative races (no humans) and each set hand designed to such a degree some of them can fool your eyes into thinking its a living breathing world. The story itself was fairly simple Fantasy story 101, so here's the intro to save time....

So the missing shard must be returned to the crystal to prevent the Skeksis from completly taking over, and a young Gelfling named Jen is chosen for this task and he goes on a great journey blah blah blah, so the story itself is pretty straightforward, but I think its the setting and characters that really hold it up, and I wonder if anyone has done a crossover like this? Just putting this out there for any interested in putting this idea into practice.
