Birthday? #%£@ it! · 5:19pm Jun 21st, 2015
Sorry if that seems over dramatic, but it's been a known fact the last several years I've loathed my own birthday. Why? Because my own damn family manage to make it the one day where I matter less then usual. That's all they ever do!
Here's a journal cross-posted from deviantart, about today:
...but I was right. They DIDN'T give a flying f**k about what I wanted! *crickets chirp* Yeeaahhh....not surprised any more, are we? I've mentioned those two enough times for most people to be familiar with their antics.
I wanted to go see a movie, or go to Pizza Hut, my favourite guilty-pleasure franchise....but no, they were too TIRED. Guys, you do know you can't bulls**t a bullsh**ter right? Honestly, glass is less transparent then those two! They spend their weekends having Chinese food and wine. So more likely they drank too much last night, THATS WHY THIER TIRED. Thier version? Apparently weeding a garden with an impossibly small amount of grass has worn them out. Yet they had no issues traipsing around the port at Puerto del Carmen during the holiday, and that was in blazing heat!
It's once a YEAR, I....
Oh what's the use, it's never going to change. Tomorrow is the actual date of my birthday, and I'm going to do what I wish until my heart BREAKS that I didn't have to do...pretend it's just an ordinary day. I have nobody to celebrate it with after all, no presents to look forward to (they gave me some cards with the usual clichéd false sentiments scribbled inside, and a small amount of cash (i asked for Steam vouchers, since I have a gaming rig an' all, but since the blasted things are hard to find in this part of the UK, they didn't even TRY. They pretty much said so, to. My. Face.) and my sister sending her card from Ireland so it'll take about a week to get here, she said). Doesn't help my BFF is at work too, she's having to do overtime because someone's sick or on leave..I forget which. So I can't spend it with her...
Happy f(yay!)ing Birthday indeed.
