Hey everypony, this is Soto Konoha, and I just thought I should bring you out of the dark from what I have been doing. To start off, One Life, Two People is on a bit of a stretch. The first chapter what pretty easy going, but the second chapter will probably be my longest chapter. I will be getting one whole day of events into this one chapter, which will be about more than 10,000 words, and the other chapters should be easier. I will be going on vacation, so I will do my best to work on the chapter while on vacation as I can, and I should be able to post it once I get back.
Also, I have been working on OC Ponies, and I will introduce them. Warning: All these ponies were inspirations from friends and ideas, so I will explain where I got each idea. I take none of these as my OC pony, except for one. (Which is Soto Konoha) If you want any of the following OC ponies as your own, let me know, and I will tell you the conditions and terms of agreement. I will explain everything about them real soon. So this is what I have been working on, and everything will be explain.... now. No wait.... okay now is a good time:
Okay, so this is the second OC Pony I made based off two things: First, was a flower because flowers are... pretty? Yeah, we can use that word I guess (Can't figure out a better word). Anyways, second idea that made me create her was one of my friends. She moved recently, and I made this off of her personality. Now to get to the details. Her name is Boronia, which is the name of the flower that inspired me. The color of her fur and the pink in her mane and tail are the colors of the Boronia. The green in her mane was just an extra color added for the dramatic effect of how much down to earth this character is. The bow, actually reminds me of the day she taught me how to tie a bow. The bracelets, as I can explain, was like this gold bracelet, but it kind of started to absorb the the green of the earth around it (I got this color). This shows how well attached she is to her surroundings. Her eyes, however, do not have really any inspiration. I just played with the colors and I got this beautiful color that I liked, and I added it to the bow. Boronia's personality is very sweet, down to earth, and open minded. She doesn't mind voicing her opinion, but she never judges anyone, or anything, without having a story and reason to base her judgement on. She is really smart, and when it comes to important assignments, projects, situations, etc., nothing else matters in the world other than what has to relate to that topic. She is a pegasus, and she is an average flyer with 8.4 wing power. That is all there is to say about her... oh yeah, the cutie mark. Sorry, none of them have a cutie mark right now, I don't know what their cutie marks should be yet, so if you guys have any ideas, let me know in the comments. I will make a decision from there. Otherwise, that is it, and I will be moving on to the next character.
This picture, I kind of now considered, to be the younger sister of Boronia. This is Alibi Carn (alEbE Karn [that's how you pronounce it]) and she is the younger sister of Boronia (I know I said that twice, I am stupid). Her name comes after the Carnation mini - Alibi, which is a flower. She is an earth pony, and she was inspired by this one child that I met. This kid just walked up to me and started asking me some random questions during one of my morning walks. Despite how much older I was, and I apparently seem suspicious (but the gang of guys that sag, talk shit, and smoke do not... *sigh*), she walked up to me and started asking question about like if I just moved in, or like where I came from. It was kind of scaring me that she just came to me. She was also very well educated for her age, which only scared me more, but she was really sensitive. I just asked her why she just randomly came to talk to me over the other 20 something people that were there, and she gave me this look of offense, and this kid was 9 at least. She was also pretty sassy, saying that I should be grateful for the fact she thought of me as being the odd one out of the crowd. She did scare me, but she also made me happy because I never see any kids that ambitious here where I live. So I made this character because of her, and I decided to make her a sister of Boronia. So I had to find a flower to inspire her features to, and I got this. So her mane is a very basic greyish-green which are usually the leaves of the Alibi. He coat is a pinkish-purple, which is the common color of the flower. The bow is white because at the time when the child walked up to me, she was wearing most white, and it stood out from all the other colors because it was the major color of the bunch. Yes, her pupils are big. No, she is not on crack or anything like that (that I know of...). The large eyes just resemble her enthusiasm and her curiosity toward strange things. The eye color, again, has no resemblance toward anything, and they are just for the effect. I added the glasses on last minute because she seemed like the kind of person that would wear glasses. So that is Abili, and if you have any further questions on their life, ask me, and I will think about it... no, I won't. I already know.
Oh god, I should have added the white background on this picture, oh well, that is my fault... So, as you can see, he's a lazy ass. This is Slumber Sloth, and he is an earth pony. Now, there wasn't as much inspiration to this character as the others. I only was inspired that the personality of someone laid-back, carefree, and tired 34 hours a day (exaggeration as in he is really lazy, it's sad just seeing him...). I was calling one of my friends at 3 pm, seeing if we could hang out. He said I just woke him up, and to give him a few minutes. So I did... an hour later, and he still doesn't call. I called him again, and he said I just woke him up, and he is sorry. Then he said that he needs a few minutes again. So I just gave up that day, and started making this guy. Nothing special about him. He has a job, which I don't ever see him going to, and he still has it. Don't understand how he didn't get fired, not that I even know what his job is. This character really doesn't make sense, but then again, we have Pinkie Pie, the biggest ball of randomness that can break the fourth wall. Where this guy, you just can't figure what his job is, but the rest is just pure laziness. The colors about him all were just randomized. I messed with the colors, and the first thing that I got, I used. Ended with this earth pony, that doesn't work. I mean he does work, somehow, but like he is just always in the same spot. Sometime I am happy to see that he moves when he is sleeping somewhere else, but yeah. That is Slumber Sloth, only two more to go.
This guy was a bit of trouble getting the colors right, but I got what I was looking for. This is Roger Pai, and he is a unicorn. He is blind, and he has Progeria, which is, in short terms, you are born old and die young (literally). You sort of go through his backwards aging process, and this was inspiring because I knew someone that had this. The guy I knew always wore a vest, so I gave the pony a vest and spent a half an hour trying to find a color that match is coat in some way. At first, I went with khaki, but it didn't look right, and spent all my time getting that. Like the guy, his hair is gray with white streaks (or streak in the ponies case). Blind glasses, self-explanatory. The fur is the guy's favorite color (by the way, the guy I know that have progeria is not blind. That was just an extra touch. This way you don't have to flame on me for this, otherwise, this would have been really stupid), but yeah, favorite color. His eyes are a peach color because I was eating a peach when I made him. I couldn't find a color for the eyes to match his fur (deja-vu), and then I looked at my peach, and thought it would work. The personality I have not come up with, so you can have at his personality. Just leave a comment on what you think he would be like, and I will get back to you.
Finally, this is my OC pony, Soto Konoha. First pony I made when I found the pony maker. It took me another month to figure out what an OC pony was, and the thoughts that went with it. Figured out that people hated it when you made an Alicorn because they are considered "the gods and such of Equestria blah blah blah". I thought about making him just a regular pegasus, but then I decided not to. He is just an Alicorn, no special blood line, no god of any kind. Just a regular pony live everypony else, so it is time to Love and Tolerate. Anyways, this guy is an ass. If he can find a time to make fun of someone, he will do so. He doesn't really care about anypony's feelings, and he certainly doesn't like being around anypony. He doesn't trust anypony because of his bad experiences, so he is always in a bad mood around everypony. The two good sides of his personality, that he doesn't show to anypony, would be when he sings and his love for animals (mostly mammals). He can be a cool guy at times and pop a few jokes now and then, instead of insults and mockery, but his stubborn mind of thinking everypony as someone he hates keeps him away from ponies and trying to make friends. All of his colors are just his favorite colors and the colors that mark his personality of being grim, loves all negatives, and very hard to insult. He takes all insults as compliments because he doesn't care what they say, he is having fun, and the insults won't stop him. There are, however, two things he hates hearing the most that let can let him off. If you guys want to find out more about him, he is in the story One Life, Two Ponies. There are certain things I am not introducing about his character being that they are Spoilers for the story.
Anyways, that is what I have been doing. I am currently working on the second chapter. I have just finished 1 of the 13-15 events that are to take place in this chapter, which is one of the shortest ones. If I can work on it over my vacation, I will, and have it posted by the time I get back. If I can't, then I will be working my ass off to finish it ASAP. I plan to have it in before the 10th of August. Well, that is all that I have to say right now, so thank you for your patience, and I hope you are satisfied by the results.
