Hello mes amis and dear readers!
Today I want announce my progression at 'The Halcyon Days'.
As everybody of you may should have noticed, Episode 4 is now published since a while.
It´s an episode with very much 'Flower Power'. Its title: The language of flowers.
It´s an episode primary for Silverleaf. We discover how she got her cutie mark and can see the time travelling. Winter is the actual season in Canterlot. But there is no much action outside, every scene plays indoor.
The first, second and the last scene are playing at the school. The third plays at a florist´s and the fourth at Bleach´s home.
Yes, you´ll finally explore how his chamber looks like...and how a mother tells off her son.
The whole plot of this episode is very short, but I promise to make it up to you with the next two episodes.
The fifth, I already have written, but not published yet. That´s because I want to publish it together with episode six.
The reason:
Episode five is just some kind of 'intermediate episode' with nearly exactly 2000 words. And it´s not a real episode, just two small scenes. But these two scenes are an important piece of the big puzzle between 'Rising of Destruction' and 'Halcyon Days', at least for me.
To not spoil too much, I just say: This story also has a villain...
But don´t worry, even if that episode is a little bit darker than the rest, it won´t be habit-forming. Also the story won´t get dark enough to add the 'dark'-tag. Also it won´t become 'teen'-rated like 'Rising of Destruction', I promise.
Anyhow, I´m still writing it, but I think I can publish it till the end of the week. I´m talking, of course, abut episode six.
There, the spotlight wanders between the characters and focuses on more than one. I can feel, this episode is going to be a big one and (hopefully) a good one. The scenes are in my head and I just have to write them down.
To say something about the episode´s content:
It plays at spring and it´ll be primary about Bleach, the villain and - surprise - Shining Armor. There also will be Cadence for about one or two scenes, I´m not really sure here, but we´ll see her definetely.
So far, so good, do I have something musical for you in the end? *musing*
But of course! I was musing a while for a good theme for 'The Halcyon Days', but didn´t find anything, alas. And since I´m not very good at making music on my own (because I´m just way too stupid or inept), I have to search the music I like and listen to for some fitting.
I had a title in mind for it, the melody is good but the lyrics won´t fit very well.
Now, I´m using it as source of inspiration. Episode five and six were very inspired by this song.
