So I have my first story up here! Yay... I think... Don't really know exactly what I'm doing yet (when do I ever?), but I'm having fun, so!

The song I used as the title and the lyrics in the story are from Her Diamonds by Rob Thomas. Link. Her Diamonds I've been listening to it on repeat for the past 48 hours. It's getting kind of ridiculous...

There's a bit where it goes, "it's funny how the night can make you blind" and when I listened to it just now, I immediately went, "Twilight Sparkle being an arsehole makes Spike blind," but I think I'm probably giving myself too much credit for this because I wrote the first chapter only having the chorus in my head. Oh, well.
