Blogwash.

Hey there.

So um, I'm not super familiar with internet interactions such as forums like this, and also not real great at expressing myself either, like with a blog entry. But here I am anyway. Unsure of what to really do with it and if it would pan out in any way.

Anyhoo, I suppose I could explain my lack of...everything, with this here account and all.

I had started this account last Christmas, and in a way it was kind of a big-ish thing for me. 'Cause like I said, I'm not really a social person, not even on a virtual sphere. But that just goes to show how awesome MLP:FiM has been and is for me; even though I have no talent for hardly anything and even though I've had interests in other "normal" things, like Halo or Firefly and such, MLP has been the only thing ever that has made me wish I could contribute some kind of art media of some sort.

Obviously, I haven't done much on either the art or writing fronts, and the one video I did make that has MLP quotes worked into a popular real-time strategy game's gameplay doesn't really count towards being a wholly original work of art. Never even done any more towards making a more legit image for my OC other than what some generic OC generator could do for me.

As for writing, I guess you could say I was a smidge more fruitful, but alas...even that kind of took a flop. Like I said, I started this account last Christmas with the intention of entering into Hearth's Warming Eve (did I spell that correctly?) themed contest. And for me, coming up with a page or two as I did was pretty good! Or so I thought. Le sigh. Anyway, I burned out and fell prey once again to my ever-discouraging characteristic of perfectionism. A couple months I had tried again for a Hearts and Hooves Day contest, but I fell even shorter on the goal there as well.

Anyway, after that I kind of just let things go, as you can see by my lack of material. I had hoped for some other inspiration to make itself known, but going back to my internet navigating ignorance, I can never find places that would offer up suggestions for stories to be written. The only other notion I have is that if somebody happens to stumble across this blog, maybe they could throw out some suggestion or request as a basis for some story. It might help me to feel a bit more hopeful and obligated to try harder at it.
