Note: I wanted Ning to look more like a Chinese dragon, and I tried drawing her based off of google images, but the rough sketches made her look like Discord with a hairstyle resembling that of Sonic the Hedgehog. After talking with a friend of mine who gave me some helpful tips, this image was my personal compromise (she was going to have those typical streamer things coming out of her nose, but that made her look too masculine. Heck, even when I showed this picture to some of my friends from choir, they hesitantly called it a dude. However, they saw it was a girl when I pointed it out to them.)

I actually based Sakura's mane style loosely off of that of Hatsune Miku (probably misspelled the name). I'm not a total fan of Japanese music and anime stuff, but my brother loves anime, and it ended up rubbing off on me.
