    Story image advice

I'm working on my first story, which will be a WoW/mlp crossover, and I need some advice regarding some images I made for my characters pony forms. I tried to make them as accurate as possible (and will have screenshots to compare with), but I want more opinions on which of the versions I should use, or if I should combine them in someway (and be specific please). or if I should totally retool

I've finally started getting back to work on my series! Between the school situation and family emergencies this year, it has been hell trying to get motivated or find the time, but with classes out, i think I will be able to start posting:pinkiehappy: I'll probably be posting a side story first, to get opinions on my writing and see what I can improve on. But, at the moment, I'm putting up so basic info I'd also like opinions on. Most of it is in regards to the main six, my own oc (I really do hope I haven't made a total gary stu here:twilightsheepish:), and some of the other promonate characters. It's how the ponies will be integrated into the WoW universe (still not sure if they are merely a different world, or a different universe, any thoughts?:unsuresweetie:). Its mostly about the class options for the ponies, and my reasons for such, as well as who will become what. Without further ado...

Class Options
warlock: unicorns only; only unicorns have sufficient external magickal use to control demonic energies and submit demons.

hunter: all ponies; many pony have an affinity to animals, regardless of tribe; crossbows will be the staring weapon (as most fics have ponies using cross bow as opposed to regular bows and guns, for physical limitations) and starting pet will be a bird of prey (), as this will allow pegasi to not become earthbound because their pet cannot fly.

mage: unicorns and pegasi only; earth pony magick is almost entirely passive in nature, where as pegasi and unicorns can use active (and offensive) magicks (ex. storm clouds).

warrior: all ponies; only necessity is physical prowess, fitness, and discipline.

paladin: all ponies; same physical necessities as warriors and magickal ones as priests.

monk: earth ponies only; unicorns and pegasi, while still having the mobility and , lack the physical density (bones and muscle) to stagger as necessary to be a monk (and being that monks wear leather, which will only hinder the damage done to earther/azerothan, but not prevent it, which while a sturdy earther could perhaps shrug off, a more delicate pegasus or unicorn would be in serious trouble).

shaman: pegasi and earth ponies only; both utilize elemental and nature magick, which is entirely what shamanism is about, whereas unicorn mostly rely on arcane, which is supposed to be the opposite of the nature and elemental magicks.

death knight: none; the magicks and energies needed to become a true death knight is not present in equestria, but a species can be made into one, but must be done by an azerothan (one knowledgeable in the proper necromatic magicks and rituals)

priest: all ponies; celestia and luna respectively "provide" the "light" and "darkness" magicks they represent, so any pony can use them

druid: unicorns and earth ponies only; earth ponies are connected to nature magick as it is, and unicorns are specialists in arcane magick which druids use (but no one seems to acknowledge), and pegasi magick is mostly elemental in nature (weather control).

rogue: pegasi only; earth ponies and unicorns cannot be sufficiently quiet (being that they have hooves) to be a rogue, and unicorns are to reliant on magick (a teleport could be tracked for magick, and with sensitive enough hearing, a muffling spell would also by useless) and also cannot be suffciently quiet as they have hooves as well, but being that pegasi can fly and are the fastest of the 3 tribes, they would be best suited for the job as they are the most quiet.

some of these might not make total sense, but I designed it so that there would be four classes all the tribes could learn, 3 only 2 could be, and 3 exclusive ones (no death knights, but they would be applicable to all). The other races, both canon and fanon are in the works, but have not been completed (opinions welcome), but for now, just the ponies.

Twilight will be trained as an arcane mage. This is perhaps the most obvious option for her, but obvious as it is, the reasoning is sound(magic specialist, especially in "arcane" spells like telekinesis, teleportation, "polymorph", etc.)

Fluttershy will be a druid. A hunter, while still a likely option (as several stories and art pieces have displayed) for the animal connection, is strictly offensive in nature, and baring her friends being endangered, i don't believe fluttershy will be filling their enemies with arrows or bullets anytime soon. Druids not only have the animal connection, but also plants (tree quote), but is also a healer class, which is definitely something she can be classified as.

Pinkie will be a hunter. Now, I've seen pinkie as all kinds of things; a mage in an artist's rendition of the leeroy jenkins incident, a priest in an equestria girls styled fic, a shaman in the world of ponycraft story by capn'chryssalid here on fimfic, and everything from a spellbreaker, a dk, and even a demon hunter (go to dA and type in "pinkie pie warcraft" if you don't believe me(actually, type them each in with "warcraft", its quite interesting:trollestia:). My reason is rather simple, if ridiculous. In chryssalid's fic, she was a shaman who made friends with and named her elementals. FOr this simple reason, i believe a hunter would be best, as she would be able to tame 50 creatures to be her friends, and we all know pinkie has a way with making friends with even the most stubborn/evil things, so why not?

Rarity is going to be a priest. This is also a common combination (though not the only one), and I think it fits well for rarity. Like a priest, she is elegant, benevolent, and patient, but under it all is a fury that will flay those who cross her and engulf them in shadows:rainbowlaugh:

Rainbow Dash will be a warrior. I find while she has the conviction to be a rogue, she severely lacks the patience or subtlety necessary (likewise, fluttershy, while quiet and patient, lacks conviction). Also, while there are no rules for it, I believe she would not meld well with the tenets of being a paladin, contrary to chryssalid's story. And lastly, her demeanor and attitude, while not quite appropriate for a paladin (in my opinion), is perfect for a warrior.

Applejack is to be a paladin. As I stated with rainbow dash above, I think aj would better fit the paladin's code of conduct to heal and protect rather then just smite as dash might be wont to do. All in all, since she is usually the one to hold dash back in confrontation situation(not just because she is strong enough to do so), this shows a degree of level-headedness that would suit a paladin quite well in my opinion.

Geargrind, my oc, will be a shaman. First off, he is a unicorn, and yes I'm aware I'm breaking my own system, but again, look to chryssalid's fic(shining, while an npc, was a paladin, depsite in his franchise, that was not an option.) He has an almost charcoal black coat, an acid green mane, and sky blue eyes. He's also and engineer and metal work by trade (his talent), and its always amused me when one so connected with the nature work would pick up a profession so far from their beliefs or teaching. He's a quiet but knowledgeable stallion, whom is often a voice of reason, but also the devil's (or discord in their case) advocate, always trying to diffuse a situation by explaining it in a way that both part can understand and find agreement in. Its probably this nature of his that I thought he would be good shipped with fluttershy (fluttershy is best pony, and its my story so I can ship as I please *raspberry*:scootangel::rainbowlaugh:). Also, probably adding more to the gary stu-ness, he is a seventh element of harmony: the ever necessary element of hope(which will be ironic given his demeanor).

There will be other stuff posted soon, once I get it to my liking.

Comment please!:fluttershysad:
