I have become one of you...

Hello and greetings faceless strangers of fimfiction,

~ It's a pleasure to meet you all (so to speak). I'm Guy Shy, and much to my Father's everlasting shame, I am a Brony at heart. I succumbed to the epic awesomeness of the pony power about two years ago or so, right around the time when Season 3 came to a close. Since then, I've been a proud abomination to the male gender, slinging my Brony-ness around like a Kardashian slinging around stupidity.

~ The whole Brony thing is the first fan base that I've really had a thing for since I fell under Fluttershy's spell. And who could blame me? She is the Jesus of Equestria after all. After seeing tons of memes and videos on YouTube, a friend of mine introduced me to fimfiction. In my usual narrow-mindedness like my introduction to the show, I was against it first and thought that fan fictions were nothing but a waste of time and full of nothing but smut. Lo and behold, I was 90% wrong. Sure, there's a f*** ton of porn (both good and bad), but there's also tons of other stuff, and some of that s*** is pretty awesome. Thanks to a few talented buckers (MadMaxtheBlack and Little Big Pony to name a couple), I found a bunch of stories that I really liked, and I became hooked on the stories as well. As things currently stand, I'm convinced that MLP is the cure-all to narrow-minded thinking, and I'd like to think that I'm cured of that now.

~ After lurking in the dark shadows of cyber space for a little while, I figured, 'what the hell?' and decided that I'd like to try my hand at it. There's a lot of talent out there, and I'd like to reciprocate some of the entertainment I've received. Maybe even make like Twilight and make a friend or two, which would also be nice since I live in a tiny town full of nothing but hicks and meth-heads who aren't very Brony friendly.

~ So... yeah, that's about all I've got for now. I have an idea or two for a story mulling around the ol' noggin right now, and hopefully soon I'll be able to get them slapped out here for you all to see. If nothing else, I'm hoping that I don't suck at it. (^.^) So in the meantime, stay safe and be cool.
