It's Been a Long Time and I Should Probably Come Out With It

Hey everyone, I hope all is going well! May is quickly coming to a close, so I'm sure many of you are busy with finishing up school and such. My semester ended about three weeks ago and I've been taking it easy since then, mainly just relaxing and playing some video games which I don't actually do too often. The free time has been nice and it's given me a chance to really think about exactly what

    Update time!

Hey everyone, it's your local Scousey here with some important update news! I hope you're all doing well; I've been pretty good myself. I'm in the last real week of the semester, very much looking forward to my exams next week. Thankfully, I only have to take three: Spanish, Statistics, and Psychology. Stats and Spanish will most likely be the most difficult of the bunch, mostly because I don't

It's Been a Long Time and I Should Probably Come Out With It · 3:49am May 28th, 2015

Hey everyone, I hope all is going well! May is quickly coming to a close, so I'm sure many of you are busy with finishing up school and such. My semester ended about three weeks ago and I've been taking it easy since then, mainly just relaxing and playing some video games which I don't actually do too often. The free time has been nice and it's given me a chance to really think about exactly what I want to do with writing and, more relevant to you all, my fan fictions. I've come upon a solution that I believe will really help me find some enjoyment in writing fan fiction again.

I'm going to stop writing clop.

I've thought about it for a while and, while you may not want to hear it, I really do believe it's the best choice for me. Writing clopfics just isn't as fun as it used to be when I first started writing them. Recently, clopfics have only made me hit walls and become frustrated with not just myself but my writing. Clopfics may have an interesting concept or hook, but it seems to always boil down to the same thing. Writing the sex scenes and the dialogue in between is nothing but dull and stale to me now. While I was writing The Amazing Sounds of Orgy, I was just overloaded with stress and frustration because I was trying to find enjoyment in something that wasn't really fun to me anymore. I didn't feel as if I was writing much of a story at all. I also put more pressure on myself because I wanted to put out a really fantastic story for all of you since I don't publish all too often. All the annoyances and frustrations that have been brought on by trying to write another clopfic aren't really worth it anymore.

Now this doesn't mean you'll never see writing from me. A few days after I published The Amazing Sounds of Orgy, I started work on a new story: an adult-humor M-rated comedy. The first night I worked on it was one of the most productive nights I've had yet. The ideas were gushing out of my brain and I was dying to get them down onto paper. I had finally rediscovered that joy and eagerness of writing because I was allowing myself to have more freedom. I haven't worked on that story for a while, but I've been meaning to get back to working on it very soon.

To be honest, I've never really wanted FiMFiction fame or to be one of the most well-known clopfic authors. In fact, I would hate to be known as "that one clopfic author." Deep down, I want to tell stories that aren't just enjoyable because they give you a boner. Fan fiction is a hobby for me; something I do for fun because I like giving you all something to read and hearing back from you. Though we may not talk, I really do appreciate every single view, like, favorite, and comment I get on my stories. I can't say for how long my fan fiction journey will go on, but this is certainly a way of prolonging it. Maybe a clopfic will somehow find it's way into my works, but the chances are slim. I want to concentrate on writing more creative stories because they will benefit me more as a writer and will probably be a lot more fun to read!

I do hope you all understand this decision and that you'll continue to read the work I produce. I love you all and I hope you have a great day!

You'll be back. Anyone who makes a several-page long explanation of why they're not doing a thing anymore always come back.

3104631 To writing, but most likely not to clop for a while!

Too bad. You were good at it.

Do what makes you happy.
