One Year of Fimfiction!

That's right, I have been on Fimfiction for an entire year now! I can't believe that I just barely noticed that a few minutes ago. XD
Wow an entire year of this, most of my time spent writing about a depressed unicorn, or a silly human wizard girl. Not sure what to really say or think about this, guess I'm just surprised that I've actually been on here for an entire year ago. Heck, I wasn't even sure if I'd still be on this planet a year ago, but now look at me. I'm actually almost sane.

So many things have happened in the past year for me in the real world. It's crazy to even consider how much I've changed. I used to feel like a powerless child, who would never have any control over my circumstance. Now I know that power is within my grasp, I just have to reach for it. I also don't feel like a child anymore, it's weird but I actually feel like an adult. XP

I had one single goal when I started, and that was to get my idea's out there for others to see, and hopefully enjoy. I actually scrapped my original project because I didn't have the skills, nor willpower to write it. And yet, the first thing that I actually posted received a much better reception than I ever expected it too. I think I've done my goal pretty well so far, and in addition I've increased my writing skills by a lot.

I've had my blunders, and my successes. So far only one canceled project, and a number of completed ones. I've learned that I love to write comical moments, but absolutely hate to write comedy. (I'm a bit to dark to get away with most comedies.) and although I haven't been able to start work on some of the EPIC projects that I wanted to, that's because I'm taking things slow. Hopefully soon I'll be able to do this.

If I had one thing to attribute to being my greatest success, I'd say my Trixie and Maud story, I never expected that to take off. (nor to see an animatic come out a week later, that certainly couldn't have been inspired by me. XP) It's weird though, how there are several stories that I have yet to post, mostly due to fear of criticism. Although I did finally post one of those staring Trixie and Fluttershy; it's heart wrenching.

If I had to set goals for myself for next year, they would include: Gaining a hundred followers (Because I want to become the Brony King!), finishing my currant projects, and starting one of my next ones. And finally to find an editor/pre-reader... I should really put more work into that.

Thanks for reading all the crap I put up here, I know a lot of it is absolutely horrible and looks like a bad soap opera, but it really means the world to me to know that somebody enjoys it. XD

PS: a few quick questions.

1. should I post clopfics? I mean I've written a couple, but I'm not sure what response would be about them.
2. what story/stories made you actually follow a dork like me in the first place?
