Rainbow Dash, The Ultimate Terrorist! · 9:41am May 6th, 2015
So it's the middle of the night, I have been awake to long, and I'm almost done packing. This leaves me thinking about what to do? So I decided to spout some nonsense about one of the new episodes of MLP.
ALMOST POINTLESS SPOILER WARNING: if you have not seen Tanks for the Memories then don't read this, and go watch the episode, then come back here and read this.
After watching the episode Tanks for the Memories I fell in love with Rainbow Dash again. I know it might sound mean of me, but seeing a character break down and have actual emotional issues that I can relate to is pretty awesome, and seeing Rainbow Dash sob was something that really hit home with me. Aside from the mushy stuff though one thing in particular stood out to me.
Rainbow Dash committed treason. If Equestria's weather control is a government operated plan then that means disrupting it is a huge deal. Not to mention the horrible fallout that would have happened if she had actually succeeded. It was one thing for Rarity, or Trixie to go around and cause mayhem when under the influence of dark magic, they can be forgiven for that. It is a completely different thing when one willingly goes out of their way to not only destroy government property but to attempt to stop a very important procedure that helps ensure that there will be plants growing during the next spring. And finally Cloudsdale had yet to cover all of Equestria in winter, so... there could be some seriously bad fallout from this already.
Thankfully it looks like nopony realized that Rainbow was behind this travesty and if they ever learned about it she might end up in jail, if not that then she would surely lose the chance at becoming a wonderbolt. If the E.U.P. is Equestria's military, and the wonderbolts are a part of that, then that means they can't have ponies with shady backgrounds.
Seriously speaking what Rainbow Dash is willing to do in order to get what she wants is actually both impressive and scary. Though to be fair she does have a criminal history, despite how silly stealing a book from a hospital is, it's still a crime. Rainbow Dash has certainly succeeded on being even more awesome in my opinion with this episode.
It leaves me thinking about what kinds of things she has done that we don't know about. For all we know she has done all kinds of cool things that would get her into serious trouble if it ever came to light. A story focused around her criminal past could be awesome. I do want to leave you with a question though. What kind of fallout do you think would happen if it ever came to light that Rainbow Dash destroyed the weather facility?
As always, thanks for reading my stuff. XD
