A/N I am horribly under-informed about this subject, so this will mainly be about my opinions... Enjoy!!!
So apparently Steam is/was (idk there has been talk about them stopping) charging money for mods... The fuck?!? (I'm allowed to say fuck in my blog posts, right? If not, dm me a link to where it says I can't and I'll change it, but I think it's ok seeing as how fimfiction allows kiddie-porn.) Now as you know, you prideful readers, a mod (no not a Twitch mod) is a MODification to game. My OPINION is that mods should be free, unless the author wants to charge for it, where the revenue should be split between the mod creator and the original content creator (the game developer/studio) at a decided split. The reason there should be a split is because the studio MADE the game (without it there would be no mod), and the mod creator MADE the mod (without it, we wouldn't have anything to fight about have the actual mod itself.
