Oh hey look it's my first blog entry
In the name of shameless self promotion, I wanted to share my new art project on this site. I love doing crossovers and my next one is with The Lord of the Rings! Every major character (from the films) will be paired with an MLP character. I'm hoping to do a drawing of each character as well as ponyfy scenes from the films. I just rewatched Fellowship last night and good lord there are so many scenes I want to draw....
So here's the first one, Twilight as Frodo!

In order to keep the ponies' original tribe as well as differentiate between the races of Middle Earth, each race will have a different set of physical features. Hobbit ponies are short, have straight horns (if unicorns), long pointed ears, and large, fluffy, cloven hooves. Elf ponies also have cloven hooves and long ears, but are differentiated by their height, curved horns, and long lion-like tails. In the interest of keeping things as close to the universe of Middle Earth as possible, flight and magic use are severely limited. Unicorns are only able to levitate objects using magic, and pegasi can use their wings to glide short distances, hover, or put on a burst of speed. Sustained flight is not possible.
The next drawing is halfway done, and features Rainbow and Pinkie. I also have started one with AJ, but it still needs her clothing and weapon plus a couple other details to her mane.
