Hello.
I am not sure how to do the blog thing. I am just letting everyone know I have not fallen off of the face of the earth.
I have a story planned, the first chapter should hit my pre-readers sometime this week (thanks to all volunteers) and depending on the amount of discussion/revision be published in another week or two.
It is a prequel, focusing on the consolidation of the GDR just after the war. It will be through the eyes of a merchant.
Here is an (subject to change from my kind editors) sample:
As Asa set up her stall she could not help but notice the change in atmosphere. The marketplace was its usual bustling self, necessities of life changing hands at a brisk pace. But something in the tone of the many voices was different, more subdued and worried.
Had hard times come? Possibly. Uncertain times certainly had. They stood so silent and occupied so little space it was easy to ignore them. But there were so many soldiers, standing in pairs at every street corner, their bright blue helmets high above the crowd.
Looks great. But are you going to do in the future some story focusing on the war between humans and griffons? Because I really want to know what happened back then. Anyway, any story that expands your GRD-universe is welcomed
I just finished reading your amazing story: An Academic Visit and, and- where are you?! Offline for 21 weeks?! No fair! I don't see this kind of smarts in MLP stories these days. Come back, post your story!
