First Blog Post

Oh what a great title ... yeah.

So this is my first Blog post, Hi everyone !

I just submitted my very first MLP fanfiction to this website, it was a lot harder than I thought, I couldn't find the right buttons to click, sometimes I'm stupid like that and overlook really obvious things, silly me.

My first MLP fiction is something special for me, since it's the first FF I've written in ... I guess 5 years. It's also the first FF I've completly written in english, not my first language. And it's also the very first FF I've ever released on the Internet.
There was only ONE other time so far that I showed a fanfiction of mine to another person, and that was because the FF itself was a birthday present to that person.

I love to plan and imagine stories, but I rarely write them down. Most of the time it's because I'm too busy with other stuff or can't find the motivation to sit down and write. It's kind of sad, I realize I spend a lot of time daydreaming, yet have no productive result. I'm not that good in getting what's in my head down on paper ... well digital paper I guess. So I figured the only way to ever learn is it to write and gather experience !
Like I said english isn't my first language, yet it is my most important language and I consume all of my media in english if given the choice... no matter if movies, games, books or tv-show.
I can also talk to people in english on a casual level, when correct spelling and grammar isn't THAT important as long as there's no misunderstanding. But I also realize that english will be a big part of my job after I finish to study, so I better get a grasp on "real" english. I can't write some busisness letter in this internet-slang english, now can I ?

There're also 3 bigger stories I've planned out. I've scrapped one of them so there're only two stories I would really like to tell. The scrapped one was dismissed by me because ... oh by Celestia, the secondary main-character was such a sue I can only laugh at the thought that I seriously considered it a good idea. I mean, full blown sue, black coat, alicorn, general of the equestrian army, personal friend of Celestia ... what a joke.
To be honest, one of the other stories has a pretty sue-ish character too, but all internet sue-tests confirmed he isn't a sue and I guess I gave him enough flaws, but an overly complicated background. Maybe I will try to write some sort of "pilot" some day to see what others think of him.
The last story is inspired by Fallout:Equestria but set in the Skyrim-World. I guess there're a lot of propably better Skyrim-stories out there after all this time, but I would still like to try it one day. But maybe I will find something else one day.

Oh I'm rambling like crazy, still with me ? I can't thank you enough for that !

But let me end this long story and say something else. I LOVE to review stuff, but instead of making simple reviews I will just write about my favourite FFs you can find here in fimfiction. Who knows, maybe I can direct someone to a fanfiction he never considered reading before and then enjoying it ? That would make me happy.
