Hell's Angels status update. · 7:43am Jan 10th, 2012

Sharp drafts ready for reviewing of Chapter 3, 4 and 5 are prepared.

The only reason I haven't sent Chapter 2 for proofreading yet is because I despise it! It's 3,900 words long, same case for Chapter 3. Initially, both of these chapters were one of the same (rounding in total of almost the exact length of Chapter 1). The point is, in Chapter 1 I've had what, 3 scenes? The Roseluck, the city and the Merrymaker? If I combined chapters two and three, I'd have well over 15 scenes. The fanfic explodes and races in that chapter (because if it doesn't it'll take me a dozen chapters to get to the meat of the story). So what I need is to revise the opening of Chapter 2, quadruple the size of the Merrymaker scene (I added 3,000 words to the Roseluck scene, quadrupling the size of the Merrymaker scene would be easy), completely revise and sharpen their trip that I will not expand on because spoilers are magic, and basically ...

Well, rewrite this ugly thing that I can't even call a draft. I'm having a writer's block at the worst, possible, time!

P.S: Finally updated the Fimfiction version. I haven't forgotten about you guys.

Wow I love this community very hard working writers all through out. Your doing great Zamoonda I am really looking forward to the rest of this story and to see how it unfolds. I really hope you continue work on it and don't give up. But I have to say I wish I had as much dedication as you do, or at least half the talent I mean you take pride in your work and I like that. Don't ever give up man. Also I used to use this method to remove writers block when I had English 4 in high school. Take a pen and a piece of paper then sit down and think, think about the characters what they are like how they would react next in the story. That's what I used to do hope it helps you. Good luck and keep trying your best! :raritywink:

Thank you for your comment! And I'm sure you have as much dedication as me, because it took me a very long time to churn out the simple Chapter 1. The thing that motivated me to continue were the positive and excited comments in Equestria Daily, or over here like you. That's the only thing that can drive me forward! Also, thank you for the tip, I will definitely use it!

Also, I've overcome the writer's block and sent the fic for suggestions and proofreading, so I estimate that I will have the next chapter ready in a few days. The one thing that drives me crazy is the fact that the period between chapters is extremely long. I do hope that this is a unique case, and the next chapters would be released with four days tops in-between them.
