Sign of Life

Okay, first blog post.

I've been thinking of writing something here for quite some time, since some very nice people have actually taken the trouble to follow me. But, for some of the same reasons I've written rather little lately, I haven't gotten around to it. That reason being, it seems conceited on my part to think that anyone would care for my petty woes and worries.

After having plowed my way through more FIM-fiction than I thought there might be, and seeing how many excellent and evocative writers this fandom seems to have brought out of the woodwork of the Internet, I feel both more and more proud to be a part of this adventure, and also that it would be utterly conceited of me to try and add to the collective pool of fanworks with my meager talents, such as they may be.

So, yeah. It's at the stage where I'm sort of ashamed to open the text files of the stories I've begun.

However, for all that whining, I do have quite a few stories in the works, so I suppose I'll give a quick tour of those, for whoever might be interested:

A Flying Feather

The Apple family has a secret, and a rather shameful secret at that. Now the time has come for Applejack to bear the family burden. How will she cope with this situation that she can't even entrust to her closest friends?

A one-shot F/F shipping fic, involving Applejack and a mystery background pony. Currently at 1.348 words. In the works.

Desire

Having hit something of a rough patch in life, Rainbow Dash goes to the only ponies she can think of that might be able to help her out. However, desire is an unpredictable thing, and it remains to see whether Rainbow will come out of this in one piece.

A planned multi-chapter F/F shipping fic, involving Rainbow Dash and a couple of mystery background ponies. Just started, currently at 428 words. In the works.

The Elements of Foundation

It's no coincidence that there are six Elements of Harmony. But who would have guessed that it would turn out to have a deep connection with how Equestria was made? And how does that related to the strange celestial phenomenon Twilight Sparkle has been tracking through the night sky?

A planned many-chaptered adventure fic, involving the mane six and, shall we say, others. Currently at 2325 words. Hasn't been worked on for some time.

Of Relics and Rainbows

What would you do if you suddenly found out that you could break through the impossible and grasp an unattainable dream? Would you go for it, even if the realities are almost nothing like fantasies?

A planned multi-chapter F/F shipping fic, involving Rainbow Dash and Daring Do. Currently at 2200 words. In the works, as much as anything.

There are a couple of others as well, but these are the ones where I'm able to give a title and a rough description thus far. In the hopes that some of this will be interesting to somebody out there, I sign off for now, and thank anyone who's bothered to read this far from the bottom of my pony-obsessed heart.
