Why all the hate? :( +Story update

I recently posted a new story to the website and I ended up receiving a lot of hate for it. I can see why the story was confusing but I was typing at two in the morning to get it out on time for my friends to read it online. I can appreciate that it wasn't the best, and I have changed it to accommodate the feedback I received, but seriously. The hate was completely unnecessary. The people here in this community are good people trying to write fics to please YOU the reader, not any other reason. So when someone works hard to write something and you treat it like garbage, that genuinely hurts them. This goes for everybody out there. Feedback is fine, but bringing others down to push yourself up isn't cool.

Also, a story update. I recently separated the "Dying Light" chapters into two different stories so if you were having trouble finding the second chapter, thats why. There's no particular reason other than that I thought it was more fitting that way. If you prefer, you can consider them part of the same fic if thats what you want.
