Random Haikus #1 · 5:47am Feb 27th, 2015
After being dead for over a month, I decided to try and recapture that "spark" that the artsy types are always talking about. I'm not normally a poet, but don't you know it, I can write haikus.
Expect this kind of behaviour when I get bored of writing/reading stories.
I must be a sponge.
Read, memorize, put to use
the things that I learn.
Thank you sticky notes.
You're always there when I need
to remember stuff.
Ice-caps melting fast,
water trickles down the hill.
It's muddy today.
Cans sit on my desk,
towering above all else,
time to recycle.
She's purple and smart,
the center of Friendship's spark.
Twi is best pony.
Big screen in the dark,
black as night, ready to light.
My T.V. is off.
Hot stove, rancid smell,
black smoke gives way to water,
"I burned our breakfast!"
These aren't terribly good, but what else can you expect at one in the morning? I think I'll jump back into the thick of things after I take another six-hour nap. Let me know if you want more of this crap -- there's plenty more random stuff I can 5-7-5 for your reading pleasure.
Until then, "it's snowing on Mt. Fuji."
