A Spoonful of Sugar

"Uuum..... Tia?" Stuttered out Silver Spoon.

Diamond Tiara turned around and her grin turned to a frown. "What, Silver Spoon?" She said as she spun back around and continued walking. "Well, um, I'm not really sure that we should have said that to Scootaloo." Mumbled Silver Spoon.

"What!? Why not? It worked didn't it? Now we will win for sure!" Diamond Tiara relied without looking at her.
"I just think that maybe it was too mean.", whispered Silver Spoon, "I mean, she can't control how fast her wings grow....."

"Well, I think that maybe you are just too big of a wuss to do what has to be done. Don't you want to win?"

"I guess..... but I-"
"Good," cut off Diamond Tiara, "now that that's settled, let's go get Randolph to finish our routine."
Diamond Tiara started to trot home. Silver Spoon followed, but couldn't help the gnawing feeling in her gut.
