So, About my next fic...

Okay, so, I know I've probably been a little misleading about Of Wine and Roses. With all the hype of built there are probably people who think this is going to be like Life on Bridleway where it's a looooooooong story that takes me almost a year to write, but, sadly, such is not the case. While I still plan on making OWaR a well developed story, It will probably only be 3-4 chapters long.

My apologies if this dissapoints you, but, there is a reason:

While I love LoB and MS, and all the support they've gotten, I've noticed that the love interests in both those stories, as well as the overall feel of them were both kind of similar. Both female characters were written to be really shy and cute and the two of you lived together in your own little bubble of calm happiness.

While I still want my stories to be happy overall (well, minus the colab coming up), I wanted to try and make a relationship that was less...well...less perfect. That's one of my biggest concerns with my first to fics, their very well developed stories, but the relationships are these magical, out of the blue, love at first sight fairy tales. And , while those have a certain charm to them, I can't write every single story like that.

I've actually been thinking for a long time about having sort of a "hate/love" relationship for one of my fics. Where the reader falls in love with one of the more...feisty mares (you know, like Rainbow Dash or whoever). While "you" eventually fall in love with her, you still have some problems and lover's quarrels and, you know, stuff like that. (You know, where the two of you fight for like ten minutes and end up making out, that kind of romance).

In any case, sorry if you were expecting my next fic to be another long one. But the fic afterwords will be plenty long.
