Just In Case You Need To Hear It · 8:22am Feb 5th, 2015
Hey guys. Just me dropping in to share my thoughts for a second. Hope you'll gather 'round and listen.
Going through life is weird. It has it's ups, it's downs, it's curves and it's straight roads. I think that life, in every aspect it can offer, is fascinating, even though that can be hard to remember. Life comes with it's mix of good and bad, and oftentimes we spend so much time trying to catoragize the two that we forget to enjoy it while it happens. We forget how to stop and simply enjoy the view, and only when life hits us upside the head do we remember how. Really, it's amazing. Life, that is. But, at least for me, we forget just what makes it so amazing: humanity. To put a fine point on it, the ones around us, and to further split hairs, our friends. While I could dive into how every interaction with humans makes life more interesting, that would make this longer than it needs to be. So, I'll just stick with friends for now. Growing up and slowly entering the "adult" world has, more than any other time in my life, shown me just how important friends are in our lives, wither we're aware of it or not. And it's when I stop to think about it that I realize how much they truly mean to me. Most of the time, it's a good meaning, like playing videogames or talking or simply enjoying them. Though sometimes, the feeling isn't so grand, like when they're feeling down or you come to the realization that maybe they aren't as good a friend as you thought. The worst, I believe, is when you realize that you aren't as good a friend as you think. To loop back to what I started with, it's these interactions, good and bad, that makes life the wonderful journey it is. And, in moments like these, you can appreciate- fully appreciate -just what that means.
So, to wrap this up, what I'd like you to do is to take a moment to understand and- hopefully -appreciate just how wonderfully unpredictable, wacky, and overall absurd life is, and the people that help make it that way.
Amen to that. Just make sure you don't lose your sanity and don't let anything take you down and give up on life.
