You may have noticed that my last submission, just like my first, was a contest entry for an EQD contest. You may have noticed that my last submission, just like my first, was a contest entry for an EQD contest. I have a horrible confession to make: I'm a huge procrastinator, and have a hard time doing some things without a huge driving force behind them. Contests are usually a good motivator, hence the second story I made. However, just because I've only released two stories that are both contest entries doesn't mean I don't have a few others up my sleeves. Currently, I have three, only one of which I'd be ready to release a chapter for. One I'm strongly considering tossing, as the concept behind it was, frankly, awful. And the final I already have a chapter up on here for, but I feel like I don't want to release it until it's done, given the concept behind it as well.

The first story, the one I have a chapter ready for (or rather, a prologue), is inspired by the Hearth's Warming Eve episode of TBBBAP. It's extremely vulgar and very far and away a work I'm stepping out of my comfort zone for. I'm not so great at vulgarity, and have no idea when to properly use some words. Now, as vulgar as it is, it won't be rated as a mature work, so it has that going for it. Would you guys want me to release the prologue now, and the first chapter when I finish it, or both at the same time?

The second I don't even want to talk about. In fact, yeah, I'm scrapping it. I hate it. Maybe I'll return to it at a later date when I can fix it.

The last, the third one, was a promise I made with a reader of my first work. I do have a chapter up, but it's hidden at the moment. I'd rather release the entirety when it's done, but depending on demand, I can release it earlier. I can't guarantee updates regularly to it, however, given the work I'm doing on the first story.

Anyway, that's the post, the update. Respond here if you have absolutely anything to say at all, including a critique of the journal itself. I like seeing little red bubbles.
