    Rough spot

2021 is not off to a great start and I was planning on making full return here. Sadly due to unfortune circumstances plus the current lockdown, I'll have to be semi-retiring here until further notice.

I deeply apologize for the disappointment. :fluttershyouch:

    Lockdown

Hi everyone. Due to the coronavirus outbreak and since majority of countries (including Canada) are under lockdown, I will be offline for the time being until further notice.

And if you guys and gals are wondering me and my family are fine. I apologize for the radio silence for a few days.

Week One in Canada + My 5 year old computer needs some makeup · 3:52pm Jan 19th, 2015

I've been playing too much Saints Row 4 :pinkiecrazy:

Asides from that, it was okay. I just wish I'd stay in Grenada for one more week instead of going back to work again. Anyways, my 5 year old Acer Aspire M1201 desktop computer is slowly dying out as in it's becoming slow as fuck and even buying a cheap HTPC video card like the Radeon R7 240 or even a Radeon HD 6450 might not be good enough. So I created a potential budget build for an entire upgrade, from motherboard to the power supply for all under $400.

I know that an AMD APU (CPU with built in graphics) won't be that great for modern gaming, but for future upgrading, the FM2+ motherboard is only great from upgrading the APU to a dedicated budget gaming quad-core CPU like an AMD Athlon X4 860k for $84 and the budget gaming GPU like an AMD Radeon HD 7770 for about $104. Plus faster RAM and dual-channel mode makes the APU perform much better. I've added a cheaply priced CPU cooler so I could do some light overclocking just in case I want to add on more performance.

Anyways, I will get back onto finishing the requested clopfic later this week if possible. If you all excuse me, I must destroy me some more Zin aliens with the power of the dubstep gun! :rainbowwild:

Do you plan on getting the Gat out of Hell expansion?

2733546 On PC? Not yet. Not unless I upgrade my main computer. Even my laptop won't be able to run Gat out of Hell let alone Saints Row 4 on low settings at 720p.

2733549 Hmmm I don't know my bud's PC ran games fine even it didn't meet the requirements.

2733554 My Asus X552 had an A4-5000 1.5 Ghz quad-core, 6 GB of RAM, 750GB Hard Drive, etc and I was surprised that the notebook even ran Grid Autosport at 720p on low-medium settings over 60 frames per second.

2733557 The PC specs couldn't be that demanding for Saints Row, could it? I'd expect something like that from GTA honestly

2733565 True that. I might have to test my notebook with Saints Row The Third and Saints Row 4 to see if it's playable at 720p on low-medium settings
