Discord's Reign, Rumble in Appleoosa, Forest of Knowledge · 12:27am Jun 27th, 2012
Working on an intermission chapter for Discord's Reign while simultaneously working on the next chapter. However, I won't be uploading the intermission chapter because it doesn't actually fit in with the theme of the overall fic, and instead will be uploading it to my deviantArt account, where stories aren't exactly kept in such nice order. What I mean is what I say – Discord's Reign is a dark styled fic, and the intermission chapter is simply a fun exchange between the spirit of disharmony and the highest authority of law in Ponyville. It's played mostly for laughs. Ergo, a bit of a mood killer if I was to place them here on FiMFic. Don't worry, I'll still be updating my blog here with the link when it's finished.
As for Chapter 3, it's well on its way and may even be out later this evening. I was struck with a bit of inspiration and it's all flowing out of me and it's devilishly fun!
As for Rumble in Appleoosa, I apologize for the agonizing wait. I only just finished my last report for my Associate's Degree and I've been horridly busy with finding and subsequently filing through paperwork for jobs. Right now I've got two who are looking for me to work for them, but I'm unsure which one I'll take. Currently, the higher paying one is giving me a lot of undue trouble. I'd rather the lower one for plenty of auxillary reasons, but I'm not opposed to taking them both. Either way, all this work has left little room to write, and my muse has been stuck on Discord's Reign since it planted seeds in my head. Do not fear – the conclusion is coming! and hopefully soon.
Also, I just wanted to make note of my frozen fic, Forest of Knowledge. Those who followed me pre-FimFiction would be privy of a fic I started called Forest of Knowledge, with froze rather unceremoniously and hasn't been touched for a year. It follows the story of Hop, Skip, and a Jump, taking place a week after the events in the Missing series, specifically Running Rings. Forest has been gone a long time. but that's going to change.
Lastly, I should tell you all that adventure isn't quite done with me yet. Even after Rumble and Forest, I've been commissioned a high stakes, epically long adventure story that will certainly be taking us all for a ride. I can't wait to deliver more on that in the coming weeks.
