MAGIC! How?

Okay, so I rarely post things and all, but I guess it's a rare time.

So, the title says magic, which is always a big topic. Some say magic is the manifestation of the soul, while others say that magic is just a thing that has been there to be used.

I like to think of magic as both. Sure it is part of the soul, but more than that, it's your life force. The more you use it, the less amount of time you have in the mortal plane. But another thing about magic that catches me are its rules. You know, the required components to cast a spell. I mean, yeah the catalyst to cast the spell is a thing, but what about materials? Yeah, a Phoenix feather is totally cool, and it has the birds properties, but how is that going to help you revive something that has already perished while the Phoenix still lives?

And to what extent can magic work? Can it create worlds? Can it be manifested into a body with a soul? What about that thing where it's like 'Magic can create a body with a soul, but it won't be the same person' thing? Fuck that stupid BS that was made. I mean, if your creating the thing, you should be able to make the soul how you choose, whether it's a happy-go-lucky kid or a dull old man, you should be able to choose. Yeah, it's kind of the reason I hate magic.
Ironic huh? A person who enjoys FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC hates magic... does that mean I hate friendship? Ah, screw it. Anyways that is what I mostly wanted to talk about.
