Okay, let me just say this. Even though this past week has been rather 'dramatic'. I've found something that I don't think I would have found.
Forgiveness.
Mainly some forgiveness for Iron Clad/Frederic. If Vinetion herself (I realize that Vinetion is actually a dude, but he wants me to call him a she.) could forgive Frederic and his decision why can't I?
I can see where he is coming from. His traumatic experiences did make him say some rather rash things but he did it on his own account, and is now feeling the consequences. Now we're all just recovering from that little moment and are moving on without him.
To tell the truth I'd be more than happy to welcome him back.

I've also decided to take my leave on everything related to Living The Dream. I have done my job, I have continued the story I have wanted to finish for so long now, including making two alternate stories. I feel like I'm on the tip of the iceberg and in order to become a better writer I must start writing things much different than what I have been.
No, I am not finished writing. In fact, I'm going to be writing more if things turn out the way I hope.
What I'm saying is, summer vacation hits on Friday and I'll have much more free time to roam, and do whatever the hell I want. Most of whatever I'm doing will include ponies. To fill in the void of a ponyless summer.
So, I've got an idea that I'd like to share with all of you, my watchers.
Write a short one or two paragraph story below, and the best one will have the (not so honorable, but pretty cool) honor of being INCLUDED in my next story. Not a background character, not a cameo, but a full fledged

ORIGINAL
spot in my next upcoming title...
Wait for it...

Alien VS Predator: Equestrian Hymn
The short story can be PM'd to me, or just written in the comment section below this blog post. The short little story can take place anywhere in Equestria! It can relate to the title of the story above, it can take place side by side with Dorchester, as long as it takes place in Equestria!
Rules are simple:
No Bad Grammar - Not like Corruption. I still haven't got to fixing that story, have I?
Easy To Understand - Please don't use big words. They hurt my brain <:3
Have Fun With It! - The more original the short story is, the better chance!

So start writing, as this little contest ends June 25th!
(The winner will be announced the following day)
My Entry:
The dark brown stallion, Chromatic Joy, trotted down the stone road, his black and purple mane bouncing as he bopped his head to the beat playing through his ever present headphones. The bass drops by DJ P0N-3 fulfilling his bass needs. Through the music he heard the faint cries of a filly in pain. He pulled down his headphones and looked about for the source of the sounds.
In the distance, across the ditch net to the road, Joy spotted a light orange filly with a cobalt mane lying down clutching her foreleg. He galloped ahead, straight towards the ditch between him and the filly. Without skipping a beat he leaped over, time slowed down as he soared, bird-like, over the ditch. His eyes widened as he realised that he had underestimated how far across the ditch actually was.
Joy waved his hooves frantically, trying to catch more air and make it across, but as Fate would have it, he slipped on the muddy bank and fell bodily back into the ditch, covering himself head-to-toe in mud. Grumbling about the things he does for others, Joy clawed his way out of the ditch, to collapse ungracefully on the other side. Looking up and seeing the filly, Joy bounced up with renewed vigor and galloped to her side.
Joy recognised the filly as Graceful Melody from around Ponyville, she had passed out finally from exhaustion. Looking down, it was obvious that her leg was broken, but fortunately it wasn't a severe break. Joy placed the unconscious filly upon his back and climbed down and up the ditch once more, mumbling under his breath about how jumping across looked so much better in his head.
Joy, with the filly on his back, looked ahead and began the journey back to Ponyville.
