My thoughts on: Breaking Glass (OUAT season 4 episode 5) · 5:03am Oct 27th, 2014
Just some of thoughts about the new OUAT episode. So tonight’s OUAT episode did not rip out my soul and I’m pretty happy with the way the season’s developing especially with Emma and Regina, maybe they can finally be friends? (just FRIEND NOT SHIPPING HERE) I got to say this episode was a good one since last week we had a a (short of) Slide-of -life since we haven't gotten since the end of season 1 ( i might be wrong about this.). I am really liking The Snow Queen (the villain not the story)so far. It a huge step from Peter Pan from last season. But the 'plot Twist' wasn't really that good if you ask me. I am liking how they are fitting the Snow Queen (the fairy tale.) into the Once Upon a Time (the shatter mirror,I did mind at all her being Elsa, aunt (on Elsa's mother side of the family) but there is one thing that is bugging me. that she use to be Elsa's foster mother. It feels like (at least right now.) the show is shoehorning the villain to be related to Emma/the Charming family. At least with the Wicked Witch it seem natural. Right now, I am just going to watch and see what will happen next.
Anyways that is my only problem with this week's OUAT. Now to the positives:
1. A nod to Neal and Captain Sexy-leather-pants (What I am talking about is the look on his face when he show the photo of Neal and Emma when they were a couple.) Remember that Neal was important to Killian as well. He was not just some other guy in Emma’s life for him to be jealous about, he was a boy that he raised for a little while, a connection to his past that was painful but was one of the few people that he could have considered family.
Killian misses Neal (Beafire) too, guys.
2.Elsa blasting her magic at the Snow Queen (and knocked her off.)
3. I loved the scene where the Snow Queen trapped Elsa by the fake Anna. I knew something had to be off with Anna! But damn that’s heartbreaking(but i a good way. Because that’s the worst string to pull for Elsa. I mean it’s bad enough she got lured into a trap but to also have that brief moment where she thought she finally found Anna? It’s like she got her safety net back only to have it ripped from her again. Ahh my heart is breaking
going to leave off with a quote from 'the Snow Queen" (the story)
“OU must attend to the beginning of this story, for when we get to the end we shall know more than we now do about a very wicked hobgoblin; he was one of the most mischievous of all sprites, for he was a real demon. One day when he was in a merry mood he made a looking-glass which had the power of making everything good or beautiful that was reflected in it shrink almost to nothing, while everything that was worthless and bad was magnified so as to look ten times worse than it really was.”
