This is easily the best cover of this song I've ever heard.
So I missed The Amazing Snakeheads. Still going to see Thurston Moore and J Mascis, tho.
I'm still struggling to find someone to start a band with, although I may have accidentally agreed to be a bass player in an American Football/Cap'n Jazz/etc. style emo band, which I would be pretty cool with I guess.
I recently came into possession of a bunch of pony stickers (I work in a shop and they were getting sent back to the supplier, I managed to snag a few) and I'm debating whether or not to put one or more on my Jazzmaster.
My graphics tablet arrived, and I started a Tumblr because I'm just a horrible person like that. I'm not going to link it here yet because it is atrocious, and it's basically me learning to use a tablet and sometimes music links.
I'm considering getting a Fender Blender fuzz pedal, for whacked out noise, but after looking recently I have substantially less money than I thought I had, so maybe not.
I'm thinking about volunteering at Drill Festival, because then there's a chance that I could see Swans and Savages for free, which would be ace.
But enough about me, how have you been?
Well I've been really fuckin' busy with constant tests after tests. Finally got some time off though, so I can't complain too much. I'm gonna go see Jack White in Istanbul in November and hang out back stage, so that's cool. I'm planning on getting started on doing some of the things I said I would do tomorrow.

Heh, nobody has ever done anything they'd said they'd do tomorrow.
Ever.
Also I think I might have fucked my back up carrying around guitars and bags full of paper for three weeks.
I'm such an old man.
2553714 meh, you haven't started sitting on your front porch waving a cane at youngsters yet... So listen to any good music lately?
2553714 also, is that in Russian?
2553719
I would if I had a porch, or lived in a place people walked past.
New music wise, I've been listening a lot to No Trend recently.
I got Fat White Family's album, and was a little disappointed by it (it didn't live up to the hype)
Kindness' new album is pretty ace.
Flying Lotus' 'You're Dead' was damn nice, too, some really nice things going on with that album.
DFA 1979's new album. Also pretty ace.
Run The Jewels 2 was good, but I've only listened to it once, I'll have to listen a few more times.

The 'Touch Me I'm Sick' cover?
If so,
2553728 oh Death From Above 1979, I've been getting into You're A Woman I'm A Machine lately. Also been listening to the new Weezer record. Pretty damn good and surprisingly, the guitar on that album is rather impressive especially on the "Futurescope Trilogy" which is a three part suite of songs at the end of the album.

DFA 1979 are great, new album is really good too, considering it's been 10 years since 'You're A Woman, I'm A Machine' came out.
New Weezer album...eh, I liked Cleopatra and The British Are Coming, not really hot on the rest of the album.
2553775 dunno. I liked it though it's still no Pinkerton. I thought the songs where they don't hold back are definitely the highlights. I've always been a pretty big fan of the rock sound of Maladroit.
2553775 also, been listening to this solo album by the lead singer of Harvey Danger, Sean Nelson called Make Good Choices, the title track and Kicking Me Out Of the Band are two of my favorites off that album.
My face when I found out that the name of Whitehouse really is a reference to Mary Whitehouse:
