New story maybe?

Hey guys, if you are reading this, I am going to be posting a story, about a sailor who before he can return home to his family, he is sent to fight in a war. His family is the Hooves's(?) and it is my little thing on why you never see Dinky's dad, or why you never see many stallions in, well, anywhere. Tell me what you think of this idea or any edits to my patchy storyline you can think of. Also, I'm in need of OC's, so please if you want him/her featured in my story, tell me. I have holes to fill.
