TPoD Author's Notes Part 1 | Future Plans/Delays · 2:01am Jun 18th, 2012
Hello, my name's Proud-Dust, I'm sure you can see that from the tool bar... hahaha...
As you can see, I started The Pride of Dust a week ago and got a pretty positive response. *chuckle weakly*
Anyway, *Claps hand together* I've hit a speed bump in my writing career.
My finals.
I have a Biology 12 Exam on June 18th, Physics 11 the very next day. and Social Studies 11 on June 21st and a English 12 Final on June 25th.
As you can see, I can't quench your reading thirst until, at the latest, June 25th.
Along with editing Troutking's work, I have decided to take a longer time to get back in gear with TPoD.
I apologize for any outbursts of tears.
Of course, don't get me wrong, I will be writing during this time, just not as frequently as I will be studying for frequent exams. I'll also use this time to think of new stories.
New stories I'm considering in my mind.
Soarin'/Twilight shipping story.
Magus Lyra/OC with magic politics and conspiracies story.
Rarity with childhood changeling friend story.
Starswirl the Bearded epic infection/god-slaying story
Anyway with The Pride of Dust, I'm definitely going to finished the current arc: The First Party by part 3 and maybe divert to other projects.
I've also decided to make every story I write from now on unless stated otherwise in be part of the Albaverse.

Phenomenon - Basically these are 'gods' who have ascended from humans. These gods are created through having a strong enough desire. Such examples are: "I want to be a hero!", I want to spread peace to the world."
They can be either encompassing desires or small but focused desires.
Encompassing: "I want to spread peace to the world."
Small but focused: I want to protect just one person."
As soon as the will of your desire becomes strong enough, you will automatically be removed from earth's axis of time and placed in Alba, the region where phenomenons' thrive.
Phenomenons basically create universes to satisfy their desires and boredom, they can also arrive at any part of earth's timeline due to not being bound to earth's time axis.
Personal Title/Official Title - Basically every phenomenon has a title that they can be referred to and a title of that quality they command over.
Examples:
Gaia's Titles: The Defiler of Abnormality • Phenomenon of Normalcy
He is called the Defiler of Abnormality
He represents/commands over the quality of Normalcy.
Advent - There are two kinds of magics in Alba, "Advent" and the traditional "Magic"
Every Phenomenon has both Advent and Magic in them.
Advent is the magical source used to create universes, give power to them. An Phenomenon cannot gain more Advent than they initially have, and Advent cannot be recover through time.
Magic is the magical source used to fight among or amuse themselves while they're not watching over their worlds. Magic can be recovered throughout time.
Deicide - It is perfectly possible and, with good cause and reason, fine to kill other gods, slain gods simply return to earth bound by time as newborn babies.
