Any one got any good crossover ideas? · 2:53am Oct 8th, 2014
Hey. First blog thing! I was hoping for some crossover ideas like MLPxOkage or the such. Of course, i doubt anyone'll actually has any ideas for me seeing as everyone uses them or wouldn't want a noob like me to do it. Anyways! I'm in the mood for doing Okage Shadow King stuff cause, you know, that game is friggin' epic to no ends. I plan to do a walkthrough of it on youtube soon. Well, i think we all know that i need to shut up now and end this thing now.

No idea what Okage is. My favourite crossovers though are always the ones where you take the plot from the game/book/show and give make all the ponies have similar personalities to the ones in the other thing. I'm not explaining it right;

2519276 You have to do it right though, or it's painfully bad. It'd be like a fanfiction version of the Power Ponies episode, Rainbow Dash already has weather abilities, so you make her Thor, and Fluttershy also is normally timid but really freaks out when she gets angry so you make her the Hulk. You'll probably have to bend the personalities to get it to fit properly for a crossover, but you don't want to bend it too much. If there's no good match up between Okage and MlP, then you should just make an OC. pony based off the character.
2518945 I've got ideas.
They all already fit into some of the roles. Fluttershy would be the main character since both her and the actual main character in Okage are alike in many ways, Twilight would still be the brainy one still, so on and so forth. But, the major question now if i should make keep it pony and not do the human thing or what.
2520007 You should probably keep it pony, since there's barely an point in making it an MLP fanfic if it's anthro or humanized(excluding clop).

2521156 You should also try the different editing groups for pre-readers and editors. Try a few different groups too; there're several. Also, make sure to make your request have really flowery langauge and no errors, since from my own experience as one(now retired) few people like to edit for someone who has constant errors anyways, the person's request thread is an easy way to judge.
2521974 I'm actually trying to have projects for myself because most of my stories have had Editors and the such so I want the chance to improve on my own instead of having people fix my mistakes. That's why i started experimenting. If it gets good feedback on it's own, i'll keep going. If not, i'll take it down and uberpolish it until i'm satisfied. And I doubt anyone would be willing to work with me due to my odd writing schedule.
2521998 Well, make sure you use a good spell checker, reread your work before posting(in the fimfic reader), and double check grammar sites to make sure you're using quotation marks correctly. You would not believe the amount of people who somehow write:
"Hello, I'm a dude," he said.
like this:
"Hello, I'm a dude." He said.
It's not that big of a problem with reading it that way, but it's the fact that they honestly believe it's how you do punctuation in the english langauge and how many people do it.
2522045 I usually only do that when I plane to break then continue the sentence.
Like this; "I won't stop until you," She pointed to the other. "listen to what I have to say." or just make it one whole sentence and then add 'She said angrily, pointing at the other'.
But any other time, I use the right punctuation. I make sure of that. I have multiple sources for spelling since I don't have Microsoft Word.
2522364 English punctuation is horribly confusing, and there are a bunch of different rules for a capitalization and periods and commas and whatnot. You should probably browse a few sites for how to do it properly. I was going to link a really good one I used a few months ago but I can't seem to find it.
