My Thoughts on My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks (Spoilers) · 7:05pm Oct 2nd, 2014

(Originally written on October 2nd.)
Yesterday, I went to see Rainbow Rocks in the theaters.
In a nutshell, I loved the movie. But your not here for a nutshell right?

First of all, way better then the first movie, and I mean way better.

Not only was the music better this time around (There wasn't a single song I didn't enjoy.) But I even found myself tapping my feet and hands to most of the songs.
(my favorite song in Rainbow Rocks is "Better Than Ever" :P )

Flash wasn't just there as a romance for Twilight this time (Thankfully.) And I liked that he had a bigger role this time.

Moving on, Sunset Shimmer is best redeemed villain. Easily. I love the way Meghan wrote Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle in this film. Both of them were looked upon for solutions and answers, and both of them were afraid of letting everyone else down, this, I thought was great character development.

The Dazzlings were interesting villians too, and hearing their history in Equestria was nice. On top of that, seeing all the ponies on the Big Screen for the first time (I never saw the original Equestria Girls in theaters.) Was like a spectacle, it was amazing.

And that ending, oh my god I loved that ending. In fact, at this point, Spike was like "I needed to get someone who wasn't under their (The Dazzlings) Spell, and I knew that it would be Vinyl Scratch. The fact that she never took her headphones off and wouldn't be under their spell ran through my mind as far back as when the Dazzlings were singing 'Battle of the Bands' in the cafeteria. Anyway, from Vinyl showing up. To Twilight needing Sunset Shimmer in order to win, it was all awesome.

I couldn't have been the only one, but when Sunset Shimmer wrote in the book and said "Dear Princess Twilight" I got a feeling. It was a really warm, happy, feeling, I was also getting a tingling sensation, that's how much I loved it.

So yeah, all in all, great movie, and a huge improvement over the first Equestria Girls.

Favorite Moment from Rainbow Rocks: Sunset and Twilight talking out her worries with each other in the kitchen. Amazing scene, I really felt the emotions there.

P.S. THE REAL HUMAN TWILIGHT IS A SCIENTIST! OH MY GOD! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!
