It means modern. Doesn't it. It also means "existing, occurring, or living at the same time; belonging to the same time". :my discovery of my little pony is contemporary with my large intake of horse tranquilizer and morphine
So you see (can you squint a little harder at the screen please), all our works are contemporary. We are all equals here. We burn in the same melting pot. From "composure" to "shipping and handling". Its all the same. Shitty stories rub shoulders with that hardback book with reviews and awards. Communist.
