Story Forthcoming

I haven't been the most active user on this site, but recently I've been flipping through some stories and reading a little when I get time. And it's been inspiring me to dive into the fanfic realm again. I suppose my disinterest in the newer MLP seasons has been to blame for my lack of fanfic writing, too (I haven't touched season 4 at all, and season 3 was such a disappointment to me). So maybe I should go back and rewatch seasons 1 and 2 to stoke the fires.

What I've been sitting on is a story that I started a while back (probably over a year ago at this point) centered around Twilight Sparkle (pre turning-into-a-princess time). She gets a temporary assistant after Spike takes a vacation, and her assistant is so different in personality that it pushes all of her buttons. Kind of an Odd Couple feel to it. What I've written so far makes me smile because it is a lot of fun, and I do want to throw a few "life lessons" in there as well. Not much of a plot to speak of at this juncture, but I like writing character interaction more than plot development anyway.

So, tl;dr - Got a story in the works that I will hopefully finish in the next few months, so please don't give up on me yet (if you haven't already, that is).
