I am writing this because I am going to use an age in a story I'm writing and I wanted to say a couple of things about it first,
1) I'll be using the episode where they find out the story of all the mane sixs cutie marks
2) In that episode we see Big Macintosh looking not so big but more streched if you get what I mean
3) Also we see Flutter Shy looking very much like Big Macintosh in the streched type of way unlike the rest of the mane 6 so I would reasonably say that Flutter Shy is around ages with Big Mac making her the Eldest.
4) The rest of the mane six look very much like the cutie mark crusaiders is their structure.
A lot of people have done videos on youtube about what age they are and 1 or 2 that I've seen they say they are between 19-29 using the fact that getting your cutie mark is like puberty, I too think this but in the pony world I would say that you are between the ages of 6-8 when you hit puberty ie get your cutie mark. I think this because it is a kids show so they must've made the height and voices to sound/look like their ages. I believe that Apple Bloom is 8 because if she was 7 she wouldn't be one of the only "blank-flanks in her class. Back to the list I would say that Flutter Shy is either 9-10 I know that is outside of the ages I would say as "puberty" but since her cutie mark was taking care of animals she would only find what her special something was when she went to ponyville or any town for that matter so she would be the exception. Making Bic Mac 11-13, I know Big Mac isn't one of the mane 6 but hey-ho, so currently I think that Flutter Shy is maybe 18 making the rest of the mane 6 between the ages of 15-18.
Rarity would be 17 because she has her own boutique to run for celestias sake, then Pinkie Pie ( I won't expand on why I think these ages because I need to finish this so I can write the story) would be 17 aswell, then Apple Jack at 16, Twilight Sparkle at 16 and Rainbow Dash at 15 I think she's 15 in the episode she is clearly smaller than the rest of the mane 6.
