Wishing to prove my Abilities. · 7:09am Sep 12th, 2014
So, just a few minutes ago I offered my Services as a proofreader to a writer on here whose stories I like, only to have them respond with " I can't say that you have enough of a repertoires to help me, sorry.". What the Buck do they know if they dont give me the chance first? I surely cant screw up more then anyone else on here. Its a little frustrating sure, but like a duck I just let it roll off my back like water. I just wish they would give me a chance to prove to them that I can do what their asking, instead of just automatically thinking that I wouldn't be able to do it.

If you want to build/prove your proofreading chops, I recommend checking groups for people looking for one. A good place to start is the group 'we are the music'.
