About In Need of Assistance

I suddenly really like the idea of my OC being part of the Royal Guard. I think I'll expand on it, maybe a big update to the existing story and then turn it into a multi-chapter story. I do have a lot of other stories I want to do, plus I'm finding a job and I'm still in school so it may not be a while until I actually get to it, but knowing me I'll be jumping around stories that I feel like working on, Persona: Harmony taking the top priority. Just a thought I had while mulling over how the rest of the story might go if I continue it and I really liked where it was going. I may end up making this an official part of his background, a "canon" characteristic. I will try to be careful with it, though. I don't want my OC to be one of those that are saintly and can never do wrong and saves all of Equestria from certain doom. Anyway, just something I was thinking about. Thoughts/opinions?
