"I cannot be her" she yelled, her voice trailing with desperation. "But I can love you"
I looked away with the gun still at my head, my finger trembling at the trigger as she carefully approached with her magic ready.
It wouldn't stop me though, for even she cannot be faster than a speeding bullet.
For her to say such things is not enough to comfort me, the sheer fact of changeling venom killing me was already the key to my insanity.
King or not...my mind is fragile and weak as of yesterday. A king is what I am, but my circumstances have led me to a loss of willpower.
"What do you hope to accomplish?" I whispered, the tone of my voice drifting as a negative. "What do you hope to accomplish in loving me like my wife?"
She didn't answer, but rather stopped my intentions with nought but a small connection that is unbecoming.
At first it felt to be an illusion, a tingle that was a craving instead of a feeling. But such matters are not jest by the sun goddess, nor is the touch she leaves so gracefully.
When I blinked...I thought the illusion would end, maybe disappear, but she was still in front of me. Said mare was still touching my lips, begging for entry with all the need to press her tongue against mine.
Vague and startling were the feelings of this kiss. The desperation that came with it trailed my dying body with the curling her wings.
She was holding me, rendering escape with the ensnare of her heavenly taste. I was lost for words, wondering how this felt so good...so perfect.
Then I wondered how it didn't hurt, how I didnt' feel that this was betrayal...a killing blow to my faith for my faith.
Suddenly she stopped, rimming my lips with her tongue as the saliva broke its link. And thus we stopped, but my hand was empty of the gun.
I realized that she took it, and thus stole my death that I wanted.
She weeped joyfully, then lovingly whimpered..."because I have always loved you"
This would be a good start, don't you think?

It isn't, it is a tragedy of a human that is dying. However only Celestia knows while Luna is being a selfish b****.
With her not listening, and leaving for business, dying romance will take place.
If it goes good though, along with enough thumbs up, I'll add a sequel to where it is more than slow assassination, but also treasonous conspiracy.
