Hello folks! Still not sure if anyone reads these, but I shall assume YOU are! Yes you! Right there!
Anyways, I see people seem to like the transformation of king sombra from a Gak- obsessed unicorn tyrant into a tragic villain. However, I am on the fence about Storms of War, due to the fact it is 50-50 (Or 2-2) on likes and dislikes.
As a bit of a note, when you dislike something but leave no comment, all it says to (At least me) an author is that "Meh, your story is not all that good" or "I just dont like this, but I cannot be bothered to say why"
Neither of these help. If the story itself is bad, just a friendly "Dude, wt(Flank) is this. It is bad and you should feel bad for posting it" will be a decent start in the comments.
If you just cannot be bothered to point out an error, then please, dont be bothered to give it a thumbs down. Authors work hard on stories, and I think that we (Or at least I) deserve a bit of an explanation on why our work is not up to your satisfaction. Obviously, not everyone will be pleased with everything we do, but when we know what people like and dont like, we can grow and progress in our work, getting better and better.

I honestly feel the same as you about dislikes. If it has something to do with the writing, then I want to know so that I can improve. I will say, don't get too discouraged if you have split likes/dislikes right off the bat. Sometimes it takes a while for people to realize there are good stories out there. And some people also might dislike stories for simple things like they don't agree with shipping, they don't like OCs, they don't like stories about alicorns, and so on and so forth. I hope that you'll get some explanations along the way. Don't give up! If you're proud of your craft, then don't be afraid to post it.
