    It's Finally Out!

So I do finally have my new story out. Posts are going to be up every two weeks to a month depending. Honestly a lot of it just depends on homework, free time, and level of inspiration/procrastination. It seems that a lot of my writing works with random spurts of 10k words in an hour and then nothing for five months (bit of an exageration, but you get the point). Not really sure why, but it is

    Release Date for New Story

It's just about ready to go. While I didn't meet my deadline I can confidently say that it will be up next week. Likely on Monday. That is March, but I've never been good at deadlines. Still, hope you all will enjoy it when it does come out next week.

Just wanted to wish everyone a happy new year! Also, as I have just completed A Star Pony Tale, my next story will be going up either late January or early February most likely. I'll keep you all updated as to progress on that if it changes. It will be taking place after the events of

    Merry Christmas!

Hello! I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and give you all a new chapter. Just for the season I will be putting up one chapter everyday through the end of the month. I hope that makes up for the lack of content over the past while.

    Short Absence

I know that you haven't heard from me for a while and I'm sorry that I haven't been around. It seems that every time that I sit down to explain why nothing has been going up I have to leave a moment later. I also hate to keep changing the upload schedule constantly. I'm fine though, I've just been busy recently. Going forward I don't really know when my schedule is going to open up. For the

RWBY Volume 2: Chapter 2 · 1:25pm Aug 2nd, 2014

Chapter 2 - Welcome to Beacon

At the beginning of this episode we are met with the introduction of General James Ironwood who is also the headmaster of Atlas. It is apparent that he sees war on the horizon and is trying to prepare for it. I am curious as to what happened between him and Glynda as it also immediately shown that she harbors a certain dislike for him. It was interesting to see that the headmasters do apparently seem to be aware of what is going on with all of this. I want to find out where Qrow fits into all of this as he does seem to be very important. Not only is he Ruby's uncle, the one who taught her to fight in the first place, but he also looks to be a spy of some kind that's helping fight against Roman and the White Fang. It's clear that Ozpin is aware of what's going on but wants to keep it all secret.

I really liked the card game that they showed and Weiss's confusion about it. The way that Ruby and Yang really got into it was hilarious and then Jaune coming in at the last moment and winning was nice. The power hungry monologue that Weiss had was also really good. Neptune's introduction was good especially with the use of Jaune's initial pick up line. Jaune's subsequent mutter of, "Are you kidding me!?" was a nice touch I thought. I'm looking forward to more development on him.

The next part is where we get to see Blake's interrogation after the end of the last Volume. The dark room where the interrogation happened had a really nice effect and the transition to it from the bedroom was really smooth I thought. Their dialogue on the faunus was nice to see as it continued to develop the divide that there is between them and the human race. I wonder if maybe that's what this is leading up to in the end as the group is clearly the White Fang. Maybe at the end that''s what the brewing war is going to be. It shows the urgency of this with Ozpin's conversation with Blake. It's obvious that he is very concerned by something even if we don't know what it is yet.

Weiss's dramatic accusation of Blake keeping something from them was fun too watch especially as she balanced on the chair at the end of it. Blake's concern about the White Fang is well placed and it's clear that she feels very passionately about what she says when she's explaining her worry to them. The nod to the trailers in Weiss's response was cool to see and she made very valid points about their still being students. I also noticed that she left out what happened with her. I liked Ruby's excitement over it as well as the look on her face towards the end of her little rant. Her disappointment at the fact that no one said aye was funny as well.

Then at the end we had the new trio posing as students. While it isn't clear yet why this is it can't be anything good for the main cast or the world of Remnant as a whole. I believe that Cinder is looking to start a war, but I don't know yet what her motivation to do so would be.

The episode I thought was really good and does a lot in the ways of building up what's going on with the White Fang, Roman, and the new trio of characters.
