Unexpected news. · 3:19am Jun 7th, 2012
Well, literally a few minutes ago before I began to type this up, I was approached with a proposal for my art. And to be honest, I'm a bit stuck on the decision.
Lets just get this out of the way: A moderator for Bronystate asked their co-moderators about me joining the art team (I didn't even ask the individual to even do so, they just told me about it via skype)
So basically, I'll be contacted if Bronystate needs things like banners, logos and other art things. I won't be the only one on the team for these projects and members can criticize each other if need be.
Now, onto the problem.
I enjoy drawing in my spare time to help relax my mind state and to kill time. I didn't really see this kind of opportunity to come up for me, especially out of the blue. I know it would be great to do this since I love going on to Bronystate and have been since mid-august. But the thing that stopped me from saying yes straight away was that I cave into pressure easily (Woo, thanks P.E. course, you made me feel cautious about my behavior and personality.)
Here's the basic information from the skype conversation:
-
No problem. I figured you're a good artist and a bronystate regular, so I asked and the rest of the team said A-OK.
Well, when the Bronystate team needs things like logos, banners, or other drawings, the artists in the art dept. are there for the job.
There are other artists too, so you won't be alone of course
All we'd expect of you is to be willing to draw for us. Don't worry, there will never be a bombardment of work to be done. If there was, there's a whole team anyhow.
The skype group also provides a place to ask for critique and all that stuff.

Now by all means, I'm very enthusiastic with this offer. Seeing "there will never be a bombardment of work to be done. If there was, there's a whole team anyhow." really made me feel a bit more at ease with this offer. Now, you're probably wondering / have been wondering why I'm doing this. Well, because I'd like to hear what you guys have to say about this. I value your opinions and that I see comments on my art saying that it's good, to be honest, a smile will find its way onto my face and won't disappear for the next 10 minutes.
Same can go for writing as well.
So just comment your thoughts on this whole thing and tell me if I should go through with the offer or not. Sorry in advance for dumping this minor problem on you guys.
I'm so happy for you! Personally I'm okay with you joining them to draw. However, I hope you will not stop with your writing.![](https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/twilightsmile.png)
Pretty sure you could handle the writing and the drawing

True, but this will make me want to practice art more often, giving me less time to write altogether.
I'll probably have to change my week schedule to:
Mon - Friday = Practice drawing when possible
Saturday and Sunday = Write when possible.
