I have a story idea...I'm not sure if there's one similar out there already...this just popped into my head. Let me know what you think

When an Equestrian spaceship is destroyed and very little evidence left at the scene except the strong possibility that they were destroyed in battle, the E.Q.S Celestia is sent to find who was responsible for the act before they can strike again.

I know there's probably some (or most) of you who groan at a Star Trek crossover, but as I said earlier, I'm a nerd. Let me know if you like the idea or not!
