All right, so I've been thinking this over.

The story as it stands now needs a serious renovation. My planning for this could be more kindly described as 'loose' and more accurately described as 'a steaming pile of feces in which there was no planning at all (and it smells)'.

All right, so I've been thinking this over.

The story as it stands now needs a serious renovation. My planning for this could be more kindly described as 'loose' and more accurately described as 'a steaming pile of feces in which there was no planning at all (and it smells)'.

I'm thankful for the feedback I've been getting. Thank you so, so much for that, those of you that took the time to read and comment and rate my fic. Unless you've got a fic yourself, you have no idea how good that feels to a writer.

However, as I was saying, the story could be much, much better if it was less all over the place. Because of this, I'll be cutting and combining several storylines, and completely renovating some others.

The Tartarus plot, for example. I realized that it had about as much to do with the story as a pine cone in my back yard, and honestly would have only served to act as plot exposition - exposition that would have easily been placed elsewhere. Oh, and some character development, but that's beside the point and might be explored in some other fic I might end up writing. So that storyline is being cut.

Ponyville will probably be absorbed into a now more-important plot pertaining to the Everfree forest. The Griffin Attack plot is just... sitting there, at the moment. I've got a few ideas as to what to do with it other than cutting it, but I haven't settled on any of them yet.

Why the movements and changes? Well, to put it simply, I had way too much going on. I sat down and counted how many separate major plots I had, and the number came out at eleven. If that's not overambitious for a first fanfiction, I don't know what is. I decided that it would be better to have a few important plotlines than a bunch of funky ones.

The Canterlot plot is the only one that I'm completely happy with, and Twilight's plot as well. So those aren't going anywhere.

I'm looking for a prereader or too, as well. If you or someone you know is interested, shoot me a PM. I'd really appreciate some feedback on some of these ideas.

Obviously, while I work through the last weeks of school here, my update schedule is gonna decrease, and I won't be posting anything at all next week due to being out of town.

Thanks for your patience (unless you don't have any, in which case, get your paws off of that thanks).
