You ever wonder why, or better yet, have had someone ask you to take a picture of something so disgusting, you would prefer it to be a vanishing memory?
Kinda had that happen to me this afternoon ( - _ -;)
I mean, if you find it sooo gross, why the hell would you want to take a souvenir in the FIRST place?!
Turns out, they just wanted to see something to be grossed out at.
You might be wondering as to what the heck am i saying so here goes...
(deep breath...)
My dog had a real big tumor growing on the second to the last nipple on her right side.
the blasted thing was the size of half a sausage!
Sometimes I hate having a low salary at work, could have had it removed when it was A LOT smaller and sooner.
Why am I telling you this?
because the surgery reminded me of an old movie I saw a while back.
tell me if this sounds familiar:
Doctor 1: Found the tumor doctor.
Doctor 2:Good good, now we will begin the extraction. first make an incision.
Doctor 1: Right away doctor.
*makes a small cut on the tumor*
SPLISH!
Doctor 1: Oh GOD! (wipes blood off face) there's so much blood
Doctor 2 (from behind doctor 1): What did you expect? she's a big dog, so she has a lot of blood. continue the extraction
*makes another cut...*
SQUIRRRT!
Doctor 1: Augh! (>///<) It got in my EYES! and why is it black?!
Doctor 2(for behind doctor 1...again): your a medical professional, a little animal blood on the face never killed anyone. and the black blood is infected blood, good thing we're removing those tumors, here's a Kleenex you're a mess, now continue
Doctor 1: I think you should do it doctor, I'm obviously doing something wrong with all this blood(@~@)
Doctor 2: Your such a baby, how did you get your degree in veterinary medicine if you can't handle a little blood?(ó_ó)
Doctor 1: YOU'RE not the one with blood covering his face are you (ò_ó)
Doctor 2: Wimp...*make another cut*...SPIIISHT! there, see(ó_ò)? not a drop of blood on me.
Doctor 1 (with new blood on his face)(-_-;) :...Sometimes I wonder if this job's worth it...
Doctor 2: Tumor successfully removed!(n_n), Now on to the next three.
Doctor 1:(sigh)...I'll get a new mask(-_-;)
If you thought I made that up, I admit just some of it.
But the part with the blood is a no, because I was right behind the viewing window watching the whole thing,
and doctor 2 was standing beside, not behind doctor 1...though she did come out less bloody than the poor guy.
I didn't even know blood could come out in streams like that!
Guess watching those slasher flicks DID help my squeamish factor.
Though seeing needles would be another thing entirely.
Good news is, my dog is on the way to recovery
and even better news! dinner is steak, my favorite way, Medium Rare with red sauce, wonder what the red sauce is...
