Very proud of the USMNT performance this World Cup, disappointed we couldn't go further, but sadly it came to an end.
Had a rough hand dealt to us, a tough group and more travel than any other team in the group stages to boot. We rose up to the challenge though, and our team combined covered more miles than any other during the group stages. We fought for our lives today, nearly got the result late, but I'm still proud of how far football has come in this country, and we've apparently gotten a lot of fans in Brazil for the upbeat and friendly attitude of our fans there. Got text messages and facebook messages from friends in France and England after the game congratulating us on our team's fighting spirit.
We're the greatest warrior nation in the world at the moment, and while far from the most talented team in Brazil we gave it a good fight.
EDIT: Nearly forgot to say this, Belgian, you Belgians have my support for the rest of the WC. You better beat Argentina.
