MGS: The Phantom Pain

And here I was content on playing Acecombat Infinity on my ps3, but after seeing that gameplay demo I may just buy a ps4 just to get the whole experience for this game! There is a ps3 version and if its not that far off from the ps4 version, but anybody right mind wouldn't settle for anything less than 1080p and 60fps when gazing upon their own base filled with their sheep special forces right!?

And now the relevant bit for this site; a story suggestion that I hope would show up here someday!

For anyone who've seen the trailers, demos, or gathered info on the latest work of Mr. Kojima would be able to guess where I'm gonna go: Diamond Dogs. The name of Big Boss' army in PP and also the name of the routine punching bags of pony fanfic writers everywhere. The poor mutts do get the spotlight sometime but this happen oh so rarely IMO.

So here is what popped up in my noggin while watching the trailer is what would happen to a pack of diamond dogs winds up in the MGS PP world or more specifically Mother Base? And unless the MH camoes are considered canon (either in the actual story or at the writing authors discretion) shots would most likely be fired and would be a big deal on what ever happens to the pack.

Now while rough by pony standard these dogs are probably like puppies on how scary they are if put in perspective to what Big Boss and his men/women/sheep went through. So what would happen if this Diamond Dogs were taken in and became part of the Boss' merc army? How will impact the DDs and how would they influence Big Boss and his men. While I don't think they have what it takes to override whatever will happen in PP they may change something right?

And then what would happen when and if they go back?

Another route can be turning the DDs arrival into the deciding factor as to why Big Boss' army was named the same way. But I prefer my first idea over this, feels more appropriate somehow.

As for how dark the story goes, well it's gonna be up to whomever writes this kind of story. MGS PP is basically the journey of Big Boss into becoming the villain so it the source materi is dark by default but then again it has its funny moments as well. In my opinion this story should something semi-dark adventure story of how Big Boss turns the pack of mutts into bad ass adults.

Well as Ive yet to play the actual game this is a far as my idea goes, though I may go back and blog more ideas when I do get to play the game.

In any case I'll be on the lookout for the nigh inevtable crossover story, just hope it's a goo one.
